The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team and support our growing real estate operations across Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This role is essential in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting business decisions through accurate financial reporting.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
- Process commission payments for sales agents with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash flow records
- Monitor and track property transactions, deposits, and client payments
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT returns
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
- Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting as needed
Requirements
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or service industry
- Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Fluent English communication (written and spoken)
- Immediate availability or short notice period
Preferred:
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent)
- Experience with real estate transactions and commission structures
- Knowledge of property management accounting
- Arabic language skills are a plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems and their financial integration
